There's a new distributor for local farms in Central Florida!  Local Roots is an independently operated distribution company collecting local produce and proteins from farmers in the area and delivering directly to restaurants. Imagine your lettuce being on the farm in the morning and on your plate that same evening!  Ask your favorite restaurants where they're procuring their food, and tell them about how Local Roots can help them add fresh, local ingredients to their menus!  If we all support our local farmers, we support our local economy AND we all eat better!

Events

Food Revolution Day - Saturday, May 19th.  Join us at Rockledge Gardens to celebrate real food and where it comes from.  This is a worldwide day of celebration to get people more involved and educated in the food they eat and where the ingredients come from.  Chris will be doing a cooking demonstration at 10:30 am.  Check out the organizer's facebook page to learn more:  https://www.facebook.com/FoodRevolutionDaySpaceCoast  And if  you know you'll be attending, please let the organizers know so that we bring enough food for everyone!  This is a free event!
